HELLO AND WELCOME.

Whether you are a victim or a first responder, it takes courage to tackle the demons that negatively impact our days and nights.  But here you are!! You have taken that very first step and I applaud you and welcome you to the world of trauma counseling.

Individuals can suffer from all types of trauma and abuse, such as emotional, psychological, physical, sexual, etc.  And those who help victims will also suffer trauma when they witness it or when they help others or secure their safety.  Trauma does not discriminate.  We are each touched by it.  But it is when our life functioning is disrupted or becomes dysfunctional that we need to ask for help.

Therapy helps you embark upon and maneuver a path toward positive and safe living.  As you consider this journey, you may feel anxious about what lays ahead:  Challenges, Empowerment, Growth, and Change.  I provide support and guidance to help you recover from traumatic memories and events and the injuries you have sustained.  I will be at your side as you face the unknowns in a safe environment.

If you are a member of the military (active or veteran), know you are in good hands.  I am a STAR Behavioral Health Provider, trained specifically to deal with trauma experienced by our military and their families vicariously.

I am also a Certified First Responder Counselor, trained to help first responders maneuver the effects of trauma and dysfunction and move forward onto a positive path.

Lastly, I am a provider also trained in Restorative Retelling, a form of treatment that helps survivors of murder-suicide or other violent death.

Individual services are provided either in person or virtually.  Groups for survivors are facilitated virtually.

I accept many forms of insurance, cash, debit, credit, health savings accounts, and victim's compensation funds.  Details and my experience can be found on my Psychology Today provider site at https://www.psychologytoday.co...

Please call or email me and leave a message with your name, phone number, and email address.  I will get back to you to determine if I am able to help you.  Please know that my days are fully booked with clients, so please be patient if I do not answer your call.  I assure you that you are important to me and I will indeed call you back when I am not in a session.  Thank you so much for understanding.
